The Fragile

The Fragile (anche noto come Halo 14) è è un doppio album dei Nine Inch Nails uscito nel 1999 su CD, disco in vinile e musicassetta.

L'album è caratterizzato da un ricco campionario di suoni elettronici, rumori ambientali e chitarre metal. Questo quarto lavoro dei NIN ha ricevuto molti consensi dalla critica, anche se non ha avuto un successo commerciale pari al precedente The Downward Spiral. La copertina è stata disegnata da Dave Carson.

Il primo singolo estratto da The Fragile è The Day the World Went Away, rilasciato molti mesi prima dell'album. Il solo singolo ad aver avuto un discreto successo commerciale è Starfuckers, Inc..

Formazione live

Anche in quest'album come nei precedenti buona parte degli strumenti sono suonati dallo stesso Trent Reznor durante le registrazioni. Quella che segue è la formazione dei NIN durante i tour che seguirono l'uscita dell'album: Fragility v1.0 e Fragility v2.0
